Blooming Faith
Matthew 17:20
“Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Remove hence to yonder place,’ and it shall remove. And nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Who do you put your trust in?
The world tells you to trust yourself or trust no one at all. The problem with this is that both options will not help your faith grow.
If you just trust yourself, can you really say that you will never let yourself down or that you know what’s best for you in every situation. Even the person that seems like they have it together has failed themselves or made poor decisions.
If you trust no one then you may struggle to build relationships which is a fundamental part of human needs.
If you trust God, you don’t have to worry about letting yourself down or being let down by others. Those things will happen, but it won’t break you. In fact, it will build you up and your relationship with God with strengthen. As you realize the need to be totally dependent and submitted to God, he will take care of you, grant you good judgement, and lighten your burdens.
You are living and breathing today, but this may not be the case tomorrow. Your fate is in the hands of God whether you believe it or not. So why won’t you trust the one that holds the power of life and death in his hands.
“And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span? If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters?” — Luke 12: 25-26
How does our faith really grow?
Trials and tribulations are often events that cause our faith to grow in faith. It’s harder to let go of what hurts us than to accept what heals us. Some of us choose to learn through pain than through wisdom.
Faith comes by hearing the word of God. — Romans 10:17 (this is the wise path to growth).
Our Journey to blooming faith
When we started Bloomilosity it took faith in God to build our foundation. We battled with different “mountains” along the way. Ultimately, we knew that we had to cast our own fears upon the Lord.
This is not easy to do, but if you truly learn to trust God it is possible.
We encourage you to study and meditate on His life-giving words. Your faith will bloom. and then you can say to those mountains in your life, “Move!” …and they will be removed. Let’s move forward together with confidence in the one who holds the key to our future.
With love and light,
The Bloomilosity Team 🌿
